Location: 15 miles west of Farmington, N.M.
Description: Five coal-fueled generating units
Capacity: 2,040-MW from five units. This includes 165-MW each from Unit 1 and Unit 2, 220-MW from Unit 3, and 745-MW each from Unit 4 and Unit 5. SRP receives 74-MW each from Unit 4 and Unit 5.
Plant construction: Construction began in 1961. Unit 1 and Unit 2 were completed in 1963; Unit 3 was completed in 1964, Unit 4 was completed in 1969, and Unit 5 was completed in 1970.
