Large businesses have unique needs. That’s why SRP offers five different price plans for our large business customers.

    Standard Price Plan for Secondary Large General Service

    This plan is for customers who have monthly billing energy in excess of 300,000 kilowatt-hours for at least three consecutive months and whose service is metered at the secondary level, supplied at one point of delivery and measured through one meter.

    The secondary level is defined as service requiring transformation below the voltage level at the low side of the distribution substation.

Prices during the summer season, which includes the May, June, September and October billing cycles, are 6.29 cents per kilowatt hour during off-peak times, which are 11 p.m. to 11 a.m., 8.79 cents per kilowatt hour during shoulder times, which are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., and 9.77 cents per kilowatt hour during on-peak times, which are 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. During the summer peak season, which includes the July and August billing cycles, prices are 7.27 cents per kilowatt hour during off-peak times, which are 11 p.m. to 11 a.m., 10.82 cents per kilowatt hour during shoulder times, which are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., and 13.12 cents per kilowatt hour during on-peak times, which are 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. During the winter season, which includes the November through April billing cycles, prices are 6.20 cents per kilowatt hour during off-peak times, which are 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., 8.29 cents per kilowatt hour during shoulder times, which are 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and 8.62 cents per kilowatt hour during on-peak times, which are 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. Winter Weekend hours are considered off-peak.

    In addition to per-kilowatt-hour charges, you’ll also see demand charges and a service charge on your bill:

    • Summer on-peak max demand charge: $6.99
    • Summer peak on-peak max demand charge: $10.16
    • Winter on-peak max demand charge: $1.78
    • Winter weekend hours are off-peak.
    • Monthly service charge: $753.06 for first meter; $23.41 for each additional meter
    • Monthly facilities charge: $2.67 per kW based on the highest kW reading in the billing period or the preceding 15 billing periods

    Standard Price Plan for Primary Large General Service

    This plan is for customers who have monthly billing energy in excess of 300,000 kilowatt-hours for three consecutive months and whose service is metered at the primary level, supplied at one point of delivery and measured through one meter.

    The primary level is defined as service not requiring transformation below the voltage level at the low side of the distribution substation.

    In addition to per-kilowatt-hour charges, you’ll also see demand charges and a service charge on your bill:

    • Summer on-peak max demand charge: $6.53
    • Summer peak on-peak max demand charge: $10.13
    • Winter on-peak max demand charge: $1.77
    • Winter weekend hours are off-peak.
    • Monthly service charge: $807.57 for first meter; $74.52 for each additional meter
    • Monthly facilities charge: $2.49 per kW based on the highest kW reading in the billing period or the preceding 15 billing periods

    Standard Price Plan for Dedicated Large General Service (E-65)

    This plan is for customers whose service is metered at the low side of a dedicated or customer-owned substation transformer(s), supplied at one point of delivery and measured through one or more meters as approved by SRP.

    Standard Price Plan for Substation Large General Service with Instantaneously Interruptible Load

    This plan is for customers who have a monthly maximum billing demand in excess of 5,000 kilowatts (kW) and whose service is metered at the low side of a dedicated or customer-owned substation transformer(s), supplied through one point of delivery and measured through one or more meters as approved by SRP.

    It’s limited to customers whose usage can be measured by time of day and who make all or a portion of their load instantaneously interruptible as a condition of service.

    Standard Price Plan for Large Extra High Load Factor Substation Large General Service

    This plan is for customers whose accounts have a minimum load of 20 megawatts (MW) and a minimum load factor of 90% and whose service is metered on the low side of a dedicated or customer-owned substation transformer(s), supplied through one point of delivery and measured through one or more meters as approved by SRP.

    It’s limited to customers whose usage can be measured by time of day.
