
How to become an SRP Trade Ally
As an SRP Trade Ally, you’ll partner with SRP to install energy-efficient upgrades in businesses across our service territory. You’ll also put some extra cash in your pocket by helping us get the word out about our rebates.

Our rebates become your reward
SRP EEA Members receive a check equal to 5%–10% of any rebate amount that’s eligible on a project. For example, if a customer receives a rebate of $4,000 from SRP, you can receive an incentive of $200–$400.
Becoming a Trade Ally comes with other perks too, such as:
- Opportunities to grow and diversify your business offerings
- Appearing on SRP’s Trade Ally List
, which drives more customers to your business
- An assigned Outreach Representative to assist you with the rebate process and all things related to the Business Solutions Program
Join the Energy Efficiency Alliance (EEA)
The SRP Energy Efficiency Alliance (EEA) is a trade ally network that supports contractors participating in SRP rebate programs. Members gain visibility, access to training and rebate tools, as well as contractor incentives that help close more high-efficiency equipment projects.
Follow these steps to become an EEA Member:
- Reach out to the Energy Efficiency Alliance
The EEA can determine if you are a current EEA Member or inform you on what is required to become part of the program. Contact us and we will reach out. - Review program requirements and apply online
Complete your application online. You’ll also need to provide documentation and complete compliance screenings.
- Complete program training
After you’ve met the compliance requirements, you’ll work with your account manager to complete your program training. These trainings can be completed in person or online.

Become a Qualified Service Provider (QSP)
Qualified Service Providers can provide technical services to SRP commercial and industrial customers participating in the SRP Business Solutions Custom, Retrocommissioning, and New Constructions programs.
- QSPs must possess the necessary expertise, knowledge, training, and skills necessary to perform energy engineering services offered by the program.
- Approved QSPs may perform energy assessments, new building design assistance services through energy modeling, and existing building retro-commissioning under the SRP Business Solutions programs.
While the Energy Efficiency Alliance (EEA) represents the foundational membership in SRP’s energy efficiency programs. Qualified Service Provider (QSP) status is an additional, specialized designation that builds upon the EEA membership and provides exclusive opportunities to engineering firms, consulting firms, and industry experts.

How to Become a Qualified Service Provider
- Contact us to verify eligibility
Reach out to us with your interest in becoming a Qualified Service Provider. We can determine if you are eligible to become a QSP and inform you what is required to become part of the program. - Submit a QSP application
Separate approval is required for each technical program.
- New Construction application (Qualified Service Provider)
- Custom & Retrocommissioning Application (Qualified Service Provider)
- Documents such as references, resume, and sample report/deliverable of a previously completed project are required.

- Complete QSP Onboarding Training
Once you’ve met the application requirements, you will need to complete a QSP onboarding training session. This can be completed in person or online. - Submit Your First Project
Complete your first project to become a fully approved qualified service provider.
Although some firms may obtain QSP approval prior to enrolling in the Energy Efficiency Alliance, enrollment in the Energy Efficiency Alliance is still required for all QSPs.
