If you can commit to limiting your energy use during three on-peak hours on weekdays, the SRP EZ-3 Price Plan could help you save.

    How it works

At certain times of the day, many people and businesses in the Valley are using energy, which puts pressure on the power grid. The SRP EZ-3 Price Plan offers price breaks for customers who can commit to shifting their energy use outside of those high-demand, or “on-peak,” hours.

Save money by limiting your energy use during on-peak hours, from either 3 to 6 p.m. or 4 to 7 p.m. on weekdays, year-round. Your reward? You’ll pay lower off-peak prices all other hours, including weekends and six observed holidays Open tooltip to learn more.. On-peak and off-peak pricing changes based on the season.

Customers on our EZ-3 plan save an average of nearly 3% annually.*

    Pricing

Energy is priced per kilowatt-hour (kWh) and your monthly charge is based on the amount of energy used at on- and off-peak times during your billing cycle. Off-peak times (when demand is low) offer the lowest prices and vary by time of day and year.

How is EZ-3 different from other time-of-day plans?

The EZ-3 plan requires you to limit your energy use during just three on-peak hours on weekdays. All other hours of the day, including weekends and six observed holidays, are billed at the lower off-peak rate.

Other SRP plans, like our Time-of-Use plan, offer lower prices during off-peak hours. This can translate to greater cost savings, but to realize those savings, you’ll need to limit your energy use during a larger window of on-peak hours. Compare price plans.

Try it risk-free for 90 days

If your first three bills on EZ-3 aren’t lower than what you would have paid with the Basic Price Plan, we’ll credit you the difference and switch you back to the Basic plan.
