Dams and reservoirs managed by SRP
SRP manages several dams and reservoirs on the Salt and Verde rivers, as well as the East Clear Creek, that produce water and hydroelectricity.
SRP operates, maintains and manages these dams and reservoirs on behalf of the Bureau of Reclamation and to provide water and power. Other agencies also have various levels of involvement associated with the reservoirs. The U.S. Forest Service oversees a variety of recreation sites and marinas located adjacent to or near the reservoirs. The Arizona Game and Fish Department manages the wildlife, and county sheriff's offices helps protect these facilities.
