Job seekers can take advantage of re-employment services, career training and certification programs, resume writing, educational opportunities, internships, on-the-job training opportunities, in-demand career training and assistance with tuition, books, tools and professional attire, and job-seeker assistance by several community organizations.

Training efforts

All of the 433 regular NGS employees were offered new positions within SRP. In addition, to foster training and professional development, SRP has partnered with Apprenti, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit operated by the Washington Technology Industry Association, to offer an innovative retraining program that addresses the redeployment effort of NGS employees into information technology business analyst positions.
