    Protection of your privacy

As described below, SRP does not collect personal information from visitors to its website, except for information you intentionally provide that is necessary to do business with SRP through the website. SRP takes steps to secure from misappropriation the information that you do provide, and carefully controls data gathering so that information collected to assist in improving customer experience on the website is not identified with individual users.

    Information protection

SRP strives to use industry-standard practices to protect personal information from loss, misuse, alteration and destruction. These practices include a combination of technical, operational and managerial controls. Security mechanisms in place include, but are not limited to, firewalls, network monitoring and encryption to protect certain sensitive transmissions of information.

SRP also uses measures to enhance the security of its assets, such as analyzing account activity for fraudulent or otherwise suspicious behavior. SRP does not provide credit or customer asset monitoring services.

No security system is fail-safe, and SRP cannot guarantee information will never be obtained by unauthorized persons. Customers, business partners and employees should protect the confidentiality of information such as an account number, Social Security number, email address and password. Furthermore, customers, business partners and employees should be aware of “phishing” attempts to steal personal information. SRP will not at any time initiate a request for your account password, Social Security number or bank information via email.

Unless you have cookies “turned off” on your computer, when you visit srpnet.com, your computer creates a cookie that is stored in its temporary memory. These cookies are not retained after you close your browser and this information does not identify you personally. Our servers are able to collect data from temporary cookies that tell us certain information about your visit during that session. Examples of information collected include:
