SRP provides $200,000 in grants annually to support classroom learning across many subjects, including math, science, social studies and more.

In partnership with Environmental Education Exchange, SRP offers free educational programs to Phoenix metro area K–12 schools.

Teachers looking for innovative ways to teach science can join us at one of our in-person teacher training workshops. Workshops fill up quickly, so be sure to register today!
Here’s what you need to know to attend:
- Workshops are offered on Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon.
 - They’re open to public school K–12 educators in SRP’s service territory and impact areas.
 - Educators will receive a certificate for continuing education units (four hours per workshop).
 - All workshops are free for educators.
 
Corona del Sol High School in Tempe used their $5,000 grant to expand their engineering program to include a human factors engineering section, where students will use the engineering design process and anthropometric data to design and 3D-print ergonomic TV remotes — both for general use and for individuals with prosthetic hands — to enhance safety, comfort and usability.
