Voter eligibility
Voters must meet the eligibility requirements to participate in the Association or the District elections as outlined below. Many voters qualify to participate in both elections.
- Own eligible land (or be appointed to vote eligible land held in a qualifying trust) within the respective boundaries of the Association
- Land ownership must be established at least 100 days prior to the election
Must be at least 18 years of age

Must reside in and be registered to vote in the state of Arizona

Ways to vote
Requests for Early Voting Ballots by mail for the 2028 Association and District elections will be accepted beginning January 2028. Eligible voters may cast their ballots by mail or in person at a Voting Center located in the SRP Administration Building.
Ahead of the next election period, eligible voters may sign up for the Permanent Early Voting List. Voters who are enrolled on this list will automatically receive an Early Ballot by mail for every election in which they are eligible to vote. Early Ballots are typically mailed approximately 27 days before each election.
To be included on the Permanent Early Voting List for future elections, voters must submit a request to have their name added either online or by submitting a printed form.
