SRP Buy-Through Program
On Jan. 1, 2024, SRP began offering its Buy-Through Program to a limited number of large business customers. Under the Buy-Through Program, a participating customer will direct SRP’s purchase of energy from a third-party provider for the customer’s benefit and at the customer’s expense.

About the program
A customer participating in the Buy-Through Program will arrange for an eligible third-party generation service provider to sell and deliver energy to SRP to serve that customer’s load. Participation in the Buy-Through Program will be limited to 200 megawatts (MW) of total customer demand and will be available only to customer accounts that are served on the E-63, E-65 or E-67 price plans and that have a minimum annual peak demand of 5 MW, and a minimum average monthly load factor of 60%.
Buy-Through Program Updates
The Buy-Through Program terms were updated, effective Nov. 1, 2025, to align with changes made and cost allocations utilized in SRP’s 2025 Public Price Process. With that update, the Buy-Through Charge was decreased from $4.15/kilowatt-hours (kW) to $4.03/kW.
How to participate
Eligible customers interested in the Buy-Through Program may submit applications to their SRP Strategic Energy Manager.
