Thousands of fish relocated during routine canal maintenance

About 12,000 fish, including 7,000 white amur that SRP uses to control vegetation, were relocated during a nine-day "fish move" on the South, Consolidated and Tempe canals. Fish were moved from sections of canal that are being drained for routine repair and maintenance to sections that are holding water.
