Win a Maytag energy-efficient washer and dryer
Celebrate Earth Day events with SRP, Maytag and Home Depot on April 25
SRP, Maytag® and Home Depot will partner to celebrate Earth Day by awarding four washer-and-dryer sets that feature significant water and energy savings.
SRP customers who visit one of four events to celebrate Earth Day at Home Depot on Saturday, April 25, can enter to win a Bravos® washer and dryer donated by Maytag. The ENERGY STAR® qualified Bravos has the highest available efficiency specification, and is Maytag's largest-capacity washer. This washer saves up to 70 percent water and 67 percent energy compared to traditional top-load washers.
The SRP Earth Day events will be held at the following Home Depot locations:
- 853 N. Dobson Road, Mesa
- 745 S. Val Vista Drive, Gilbert
- 7333 W. McDowell Road, Phoenix
- 650 N. 54th St., Chandler
"In addition to these super-efficient appliances, customers also can learn about small changes they can make at home to save energy and money," said Debbie Kimberly, SRP's manager of Energy Efficiency and Policy Analysis. "It's an important way we can all live wisely in the desert and help our customers keep more money in their pockets."
Other energy-efficiency prizes, donated by manufacturers and Home Depot, will also be given away at all four locations. The Maytag Repairman and SRP mascots Dewey and Wattson will also visit all four Home Depot locations between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
