Business water service

For the first time since 1996, all four of Theodore Roosevelt Dam's spillway gates were opened during a test on October 11, 2011. These operational spillways are tested regularly to ensure they're fully functional in case of a flood and typically only two of the gates are opened at once. During this test, water gushes from all four gates at 15,000 cubic feet per second (or about 105,000 gallons of water per second).
