How do I apply?

We accept all candidate information online. When you visit the site for the first time, you will be prompted to complete a profile. You are invited to create an online profile in order to complete the application process. Once you have set up your profile, you can proceed to apply for current positions.

How often does SRP update the job listings?

SRP updates the job listings every week. Some weeks there are more openings than others. It is to your benefit to review the openings frequently.

What types of positions are available at SRP?

SRP has a variety of positions throughout the company that include call center representatives, engineers, tradeshelpers, linemen, analysts, and administrative assistants as well as many other positions.

Does SRP hire lineman apprentices?

Our lineman apprentices are selected from our internal pool of current employees. If you are selected for a position at SRP, and decide you would still like to join the apprenticeship program, you are welcome to compete by bidding on the positions through our weekly job opportunity bids.

What qualifications do I need to apply for a journeyman-level position, such as lineman?

Linemen, and other journeyman-level positions, are required to have completed a state- or federally- approved apprenticeship program, or an equivalent formal training which consists of approximately 8,000 hours. If SRP has openings, and you meet this requirement and other requirements listed on the job posting you are welcome to apply for consideration.

How do I get hired for an administrative assistant job?

You are invited to post your employment profile and apply to any open administrative positions listed. The manager of the hiring area will ask Staffing to invite successful candidates to complete SRP's administrative assistant test battery.

How do I apply for a position in the call center?

Call center postings will be listed online when we are selecting a class. You are invited to create your online profile. SRP is currently using an external company to complete a first-level interview. If you are invited to participate in the first-level interview, you will be notified by e-mail to contact the interviewing company. If that interview is successful, you will most likely be invited for a face-to-face interview. That notification will be done via e-mail as well.

Where can I get computer access if I don't have one?

You can access our Web site,, from any computer. You may gain access from most libraries, internet cafes, home computers, or you are invited to come to the SRP Staffing office at 1521 Project Drive, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
