Why is the program closed?
The program is closed as determined by the February Price Process. The program is being redesigned.
I enrolled in Community Solar last year; does this mean I am now cancelled from the program?
No – all customers who have enrolled in Community Solar on or before March 31, 2015 can remain on the program for the duration of their 5-year term. However, you may not increase the number of blocks allocated to your account. You do have the opportunity to decrease your blocks or cancel out of the program all together. As well, if you move you can transfer your blocks to your new account.
Can I enroll in the revised program once it is available?
Yes, once the new program is in place, customers can instead opt in to the revised Community Solar program. Please speak to a solar rep to discuss what option makes the most sense for your household.
