SRP PowerWise Standard Business Solutions rebate

The SRP PowerWise™ Standard Business Solutions program provides rebates for the purchase and installation of common energy-efficient equipment in both retrofit and new construction projects.

It covers lighting and heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems as well as select compressed-air and refrigeration equipment. There's an opportunity for every size and type of business to save energy and money through this offer.

Lighting:

Rebates under this program are limited to $200,000 per program year (May 1, 2011, through April 30, 2012). You can participate in multiple rebate programs for up to $300,000 in rebates each year.

Measures placed in service from Jan. 1, 2006, through Dec. 31, 2013, may also qualify for a federal tax deduction. Visit ENERGY STAR for more details.

Rebate process

Want a rebate for a retrofit lighting project?

1. Complete and submit the rebate reservation request (optional but recommended).
2. Complete and submit the lighting workbook/application.
3. Receive written approval from SRP.
4. Order, purchase and install the approved equipment.
5. Resubmit the previously completed workbook/application with any updates or changes based on actual installations.
6. Receive your rebate.

Want a rebate for a lighting project in a new building?

1. Complete and submit the rebate reservation request (optional but recommended).
2. Order, purchase and install the qualifying equipment.
3. Complete and submit the lighting workbook/application.
4. Receive your rebate.

Want a rebate for a non-lighting project (retrofit or new construction)?

1. Complete and submit the rebate reservation request (optional but recommended).
2. Order, purchase and install the qualifying equipment.
3. Complete and submit the rebate application.
4. Receive your rebate.

Program details

Rebates are available to any customer who is served by a qualifying SRP retail electric commercial price plan for both retrofit and new construction projects. Please refer to page 4 of the program manual for a list of eligible price plans.

Rebate requests will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis until all funding has been committed. Once the available funds have been secured through reservations or other means, a waitlist will be put in place.

SRP reserves the right to inspect the installed measure(s) up to two years following installation as part of SRP's program evaluation.
