Search and bid jobs with SRPcareers
SRP employees can bid on internally-posted jobs online using SRPcareers. In addition, hiring managers can also use VirtualEdge to post jobs, view bids, and more.
Employees must log in to SRPcareers to search available positions and bid on an internal job. Please review the hourly and salaried bid criteria below before submitting an application.
Guidelines for bidding on hourly positions: Employees interested in bidding on a vacancy must complete and submit an online bid application. If a holiday occurs, the closing deadline will be extended by the amount of days SRP was closed.
Please note the following:
- Late bids will not be accepted.
- Applications should provide sufficient detail about knowledge and experience for a fair evaluation.
- Job descriptions are filed by occupation code number and copies can be requested from Bid Administration, extension 4559. The use of masculine pronouns shall be construed to mean both male and female.
- Positions posted are usually normal daytime unless specified and/or explained in the selection standards. Please note, hours may change to conform with work requirements.

- An asterisk (*) next to the job title indicates that a qualified departmental candidate is under consideration.
- Job descriptions may be obtained by contacting Compensation, extension 4555. The use of masculine pronouns in the job description on file in HRS shall be construed to mean both male and female.

Hiring managers can log in to post jobs, view bids and schedule interviews using the VirtualEdge system. To log in, enter the following information:
Company: SRP
User Name: SRP followed by your five-digit payroll number
Password: Use the generic password provided on the HRnet site on InsideSRP (you may change it once you log in)
