How to read your meter

The SRP meter at your business monitors your daily power usage. Each month, a meter reader records that usage so your business will be billed accordingly. To find out when you can expect the meter reader, check the "read date" on your electric bill. It is read around the same date every month.
Below are explanations of how to read each type of meter for the General (E-36), Large General (E-61, E-63, or E-65), and Business Time-of-Use price plan (E-32, or TOU).
Elster A1 meter
This meter can be read in two ways: using the LCD on the meter itself, and
online via MyAccount.

technology enables us to serve you faster, in addition to many other
benefits.

Damaged meters
Most meter problems are the result of vandalism, tampering, or an accident. If the protective glass cover or the seals on the meter are broken, it may not operate properly. Don't try to adjust or repair the meter. Instead, call a Business Contact Center team member at (602) 236-8833.
