Celebrating Water in Arizona
March 18, 2011, was the centennial of Theodore Roosevelt Dam. To celebrate this important piece of Arizona's water history, we developed activities for your classroom, such as reading and writing poems, making your own hydropower generators, reading a digital storybook about the dam and more!
Materials are grade-appropriate and correlated to Arizona state standards in social studies, science, math and language arts. Click on the icon for the appropriate module to fit your needs to explore the resources that are available.
