It's a startling fact that one in five of Arizona's children risks going to bed hungry. A lack of proper nutrition affects a child physically, mentally and emotionally, and this is a point driven home even more during the holidays, when food is such a part of family traditions.

St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance serves 13 Arizona counties, distributing close to 200,000 meals worth of food each day. St. Mary’s Alliance, through partnerships with thousands of companies, food donors and volunteer staff, is able to turn one dollar into enough food for seven meals.

SRP has been a partner of the food bank through both financial and volunteer support, and we value this relationship, which reminds us all that freedom from hunger truly is something to celebrate at this time of the year.
