High-Tech Workforce Study
A reality of today's high-tech world is that Arizona companies must compete and succeed in a global marketplace. However, ensuring that workforce development efforts match the needs of current and future businesses is no simple challenge.
That is why SRP co-sponsored the Maricopa County Community College District's High-Tech Workforce Study. Designed to identify ways high-tech manufacturing jobs can remain and grow in Maricopa County, and to assess the current and future needs of employers, the study allows community colleges to respond with programs and degrees that meet the needs of both employers and students.
The larger goal is to provide the skilled workforce Arizona needs to improve its global competitiveness. Ultimately, a stronger workforce is good for the region, good for our customers and good for SRP.
