Often some of our fondest memories of growing up recall a night spent each summer watching fireworks paint the sky.

You might say Tempe and SRP have grown up together. Tempe is SRP's home as well as our frequent partner along with other Valley cities on projects of community-wide importance. One such project that has become a centerpiece of the urban landscape is Tempe Town Lake. In 1999, SRP partnered with the city to revitalize a historically significant stretch of the Salt River running through the downtown area.

In 2008, SRP was proud to support the Kiwanis Club of Tempe by serving as a corporate sponsor and providing volunteer support for Tempe's 4th of July Festival on Town Lake. The event has become a highlight of the year for many Valley families, providing a patriotic, family-friendly community outing that also just happens to be a whole lot of fun!
