Theater Works
The arts have a unique way of bringing a community together. Regardless of our profession, cultural background or age, we all want to be entertained. The city of Peoria has quickly gained an impressive reputation for outstanding entertainment opportunities, among them a vibrant theater culture.
Peoria's Theater Works group is a 19-year old community theater that has prospered to the extent that it requires a larger facility, as the troupe soon anticipates 80,000 patrons a year. SRP was proud to join with Theater Works to present a production of "Enchanted Cottage." In addition, we sponsored events related to the opening of Peoria's new Performing Arts Center, which will serve as home to the troupe. Part of the revitalization of Old Town Peoria, the Center will provide the city an arts and culture focal point.
The arts are alive in Peoria, and SRP is only too pleased to help Theater Works bring them to a wider audience.
