We have a proud past and share our knowledge and resources with the public and business communities.

ARIZONA HISTORICAL SOCIETY "YOUNG CURATORS"

At the museums of the Arizona Historical Society (AHS), students make connections between Arizona's rich history, the personalities that influenced it, and its relevance to today's diverse communities.

The Museum Youth Curator Experience (MYCE) is a partnership between the AHS and Greenway Middle School, where students choose a topic from Arizona history and explore its relevance to national and world history. MYCE students research topics, select artifacts, choose images, write interpretive bilingual text, and construct exhibits, which are then displayed in AHS galleries.

The students host an exhibit opening and serve as curators for the visiting public. With its roots in Arizona history, SRP was pleased to support the MYCE program, helping these young curators breathe life into the story of our Arizona heritage.
