Knowledge, Education, Youth and Society (KEYS) are the building blocks of a strong
community. In the area of the Valley known as South Phoenix Village, high unemployment
and low high school graduation rates combine to make positive change a challenge.
The KEYS Community Center works to address this in a variety of ways, but none more
important than preparation for the General Educational Development test. The center’s GED Plus program provides youth and
working adults the opportunity to gain their GED diploma, as well as develop computer
and professional skills. This better equips job seekers to enter the workforce successfully,
which positively shapes the neighborhood economically and socially.
SRP is proud to join with the KEYS Center to help brighten the future of this close-knit
Valley community. Students there continue to prove that education really is the key to
success!
